Curriculum
Safety learning designed for every stage of childhood.
SafetyPals organises safety learning into three age pathways so that concepts, language, activities and responsibilities grow with the child, from ages 4 to 17.
Three age pathways
One journey, three stages.
Each pathway is designed for how children think, learn and take on responsibility at that stage.
- Phase A · Ages 4–6
Early Years
Gentle first ideas about safe and unsafe situations through play, stories and simple routines, always alongside a trusted grown-up.
Explore this pathway - Phase B · Ages 6–10
Primary Years
Recognising everyday risks, practising safe choices, and knowing how and when to ask a trusted adult for help.
Explore this pathway - Phase C · Ages 11–17
Teen Years
Confident decision-making, personal and online safety, first aid and emergency response, and age-appropriate life skills.

- 02

Activities and role-play let children rehearse safe choices in a supportive setting.
- 03
Reinforce
Teachers and parents revisit the same ideas at school and at home.
- 04
Apply
Children build the confidence to make safe decisions and ask for help when it matters.
What children learn

Stranger & Personal Safety
Trusting instincts, keeping a safe distance, and reaching a trusted adult.
Safe & Unsafe Touch
Body safety, personal boundaries, and confident help-seeking.
Fire, Water & Home Safety
Fire, water, electrical and everyday home hazards, handled calmly.
Bullying & Cyber Safety
Kind behaviour, staying safe online, and speaking up early.
First Aid & Emergencies
Simple first response and how to call for help in an emergency.
Medicine & Kitchen Safety
Safe habits around medicines, kitchens and household products.
Puberty & Life Skills
Age-appropriate puberty, period awareness and adolescent life skills.
Working together
Classroom and home, pulling in the same direction.
In the classroom
Teachers introduce and rehearse safe choices through short, repeatable sessions, designed to require no specialist training.
At home
Parents and trusted adults revisit the same ideas and language, so learning is reinforced rather than left to a single lesson.
